Pup In Purse
Meet Jack, we had the pleasure of fostering this little guy before he went to his forever home. He was a chihuahua mix and he was the tiniest, cutest, adorable, most lovable creature on the planet. This was taken the second day we had him. It was so funny because, we had stepped out to buy him a new bed and blanket and when we got home, I was super excited to show him and have him try it out. Well, I was calling for him and making kissy noises and whistling but he didn’t come. The hubby and little one joined in the noise making and still nothing. We started searching high and low for this guy and couldn’t find him anywhere. I started to freak out because I didn’t want to have to explain that Jack got lost on my watch. Anyways, we were throwing clothes left and right, moving shoes, tossing toys, lifting pillows, pulling back blankets, moving furniture and he was no where to be found. The little one started to cry because she was so scared that something bad had happened to him. I tried to comfort her and tell her that he’s okay, we just have to find him and she’ll feel better. So, in one corner of the room, we had a small pile of things we were going to donate. For some reason, I decided to look in that pile just in case. As I reached for a purse my mother had contributed it felt a little heavy, even though I knew she had emptied it out. I picked it up and looked inside, and much to my surprise, there he was. Little Jack all curled up inside this purse. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Move over Puss in Boots, we have a Pup in Purse. Haha. I laid the purse on the floor and had to take some pictures. He must have been exhausted because he didn’t wake up for anything. That is, until the little got a hold of him. She was just relieved and had to hug him and squeeze him and kiss him and love him. Eventually he slept in his new bed on his new blanket. We were pretty sad to see him go, especially the little one. You can’t help but fall in love with these guys.
