9 Lives 8 Left
So, little miss dramatiCAT used up one of her 9 lives earlier in the evening. For some reason, my little one decided to open the side garage door, little did she know, dramatiCAT was right behind her. The little one was trying to turn the side light on and then all you can hear is a cat screaming, dogs growling with aggression, then a chase ensued. The hubby and I ran out to save poor kitty and the little one looked on in horror. The dogs had the cat cornered under a small table. Lucky for the kitty, there is a window right there that happened to be open. The hubby chased the dogs away long enough for dramatiCAT to jump through. I closed the window after her so the dogs wouldn’t follow her in. We then ran inside to the room in which she took shelter and found her terrified hiding under the bed. We eventually coaxed her out and examined her immediately to make sure there was no serious damage. To be honest, if you heard what we heard, you would think that she was going to be a bloody mess. Thank goodness that wasn’t the case. She was all wet and fur was every which way from the saliva but no bite wounds or broken bones to report hear. Phew! The little one and kitty were both pretty rattled with great reason. It wasn’t until we went back to our room, then it hit us. We were pretty rattled to but the adrenalin was in high gear, we didn’t feel it until it started to wear off. Ugh!! It really surprised me because our dogs were raised with cats since they were babies. I even have tons of pics/videos of the dogs and cats playing together. I’m still a little shocked. I know cats are curious by nature and dogs are carnivorous hunters by nature, but damn!! You don’t eat family! You just don’t!! Bad Dogs!!!!
